  Finally we get to host our annual Sports Day again!! Yay, we are so excited!

   

  Just a reminder it takes place in ALSAA this Friday, June 10th. All parents are invited to attend if possible.
  
  Children should be brought to ALSAA for 9.00am and collected there between 12.00pm and 12.30pm.

   

  *If Sports Day needs to be called off due to weather, an email will be sent before 8.30am on the day, so there will be no need to ring the school.

  A huge congratulations to Dylan Corkery (3rd Class) and Kayla Blanc (5th Class), who won the SK biotek Ireland Science Week Competition. Your work was fabulous, well done!

• World Book Day Dress Up

  This Thursday, 3rd March, marks the 25th anniversary of World Book Day. To mark this occasion, the Old Borough NS will hold a dress up day. 

   

  Infants-2nd class can dress up in their pyjamas as bedtime stories play a big part in their lives. 

  3rd-6th class can either dress up in their pyjamas or as a character from their favourite book.

• P.E. Days

  P.E. days will now be every Monday and Wednesday. 

• Last day of term and Merry Christmas!

  Well that is it, we are nearly at the end of the 1st term. Well done to all the children, you have worked very hard. 

   

  School will close on Wednesday 22nd December with staggered times as follows:

  11.45 Infants 

  11.50: 1st & 2nd class 

  11.55: 3rd & 4th class 

  12.00: 5th & 6th class 

   

  We will have our Christmas Jumper Day on the last day, Wednesday 22nd. Children can wear a Christmas jumper or something red or green. 

   

  We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Keep safe and enjoy this well deserved break.

  See you all on Thursday 6th January. Pupils may arrive at school between 8.30 until 8.45 am.
