Trip to Irish Gymnastics team training
On Friday 20th September, the children from 3rd to 6th Class had the opportunity to watch the Irish team in action as they trained for the Northetn European Gymnastics Championships 2024 in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena, Blanchardstown.
They saw a great display from the Irish female gymnasts as they trained. The highlight was when Irish Olympic Gold Medalist, Rhys McClenaghan arrived. He talked about his experience as a gymnast and gave great encouragement to our many gymnast pupils. He signed lots of autographs and it was a very exciting meet.
