*Olympic Schools Challenge*

Get your active gear ready because our school is taking part in the Olympic Schools Challenge starting on 4th May!

This Team Ireland initiative wants schools and families to virtually travel with them on their road to Tokyo for the 2021 Olympics. The goal of this initiative is for everyone to get active everyday for the month of May and to have fun along the way. 

Each class is taking part so there are 4 different teams. Teachers will log any activity done in school. If your family gets involved at home you can log that activity to help your child's class reach their goal of 13, 757km (all activity will be converted to km). 

To log activity for your child, follow these 3 simple steps:

Step 2: Find & select your child’s school and class team which is:

School: Old Borough NS, Dublin

To build momentum and to get the children excited for the 2021 Olympics and this challenge, we will have a team colour dress up day on Friday 7th May. All children are allowed dress up in their team colours that day. so choose a team competing in the 2021 Olympics and dress up in their team colours. 

Your involvement will help boost your child’s motivation to exercise, increase excitement for the Olympics and help their team reach Tokyo! We would love if you took photos along the way to document the journey. If you do, please send them to the class teacher and we will add them to the gallery page on this website.
