The Old Borough NS held a breakfast on Thursday 22nd May 2025 to raise funds for Childline. This was the first time that we have taken part in this fundraiser, but we are sure it will not be the last! The children enjoyed lovely fresh McCambridge brown bread with butter and jam, juice, a cereal of their choice, and a cup of tea. It was a fantastic morning. The children loved sharing a meal with their friends and wore their pyjamas in for the day to really add to the feeling of sharing breakfast with others. 

The Deposit Return Bins that we have in the front hall really helped out with this event. The money raised from the bins this time paid for €40 worth of food, feeding the whole school on the morning. We would ask that if you can spare a couple of bottles, please do as they are going towards lots of lovely events in the school. 

A massive thank you to the parents for helping, Melissa, Jasmina, Jolanta, Sonya and Denise, your help was very much appreciated. Finally, this event couldn't have happened without all of the hard work of Gillian, thank you for organising and for putting all of the touches together that made it such a special morning.
