Thanks to the hard work of some very industrious parents, a piece of waste ground at the end of the playground was cleared and some raised beds were installed. The children have been honing their gardening skills and learning lots about where our food comes from. Some of the produce grown was: celery, potatoes, broad beans, courgettes and a variety of salad greens; all under the watchful eye of our scarecrow in residence!
